Goal Setting & Career Guidance Session in 2 Govt Schools in KRISHNA DISTRICT

Hi Friends,

its very happy to share that, we are extending our CAREER GUIDANCE SESSIONS in all over A.P. wherever and whenever is possible. Its very helpful to the 10th Class Students to set their GOALS based on their Interests. For which they should know the different opportunities available for them after 10th Class. If few students lightened or got awareness with our session in setting a Goal, then it will be really wonderful... Hope it will reach more students...

As a part of this we conducted Sessions in KRISHNA District also..

Govt High School, Kummaripalem, Vijayawada:
on 23rd February, 2013  Mr. Srinivasa Prasad Rao conducted the session to the 60-70 Students of 10th Class. We started the session at 5.15 and completed it by 6.30PM. Thanks to the the students for their interest in listening to us even after School Hours. The students are very enthusiastic to learn the CAREER ROAD MAP. They interacted well and raised very useful doubts. Adilakshmi, Bhargavi, Vani & Hemanth are the other volunteers participated in this session. Stundents rounded us after the session and trying to learn more.. but we refused to give total info immediately rather than asked them to contact after their exams so that they get enough time to prepare for their exams. The feedback from children is really very happy to here.

Z.P. High School, Guraja Village, Mudinepalli Mandal, Krishna (Dt.):
With the very good feedback  from Kummaripalem School students, we got call from Vidya Sagar Garu who is associated with us and residing nearby to Kummaripalem school requesting us to conduct the same session in Gajara village in their School anniversary Celebrations itself on 28th February, 2013. Our Volunteer Bhargavi garu conducted the session to around 60 Students. As this is her 1st Session and due to reduction in the allotted time because of anniversary she fasten the session by excluding few little things.  But still students got the required info and we received a very good feedback from Students & School Management. Thanks to Sagar garu for referring us.

We are ready to conduct Goal Setting & Career Guidance Sessions even in your nearest Govt. Schools, as this is the right time to convey the info. We have only one week time available before exams.

Till now we conducted more than 10 Govt Schools in different parts of Andhra Pradesh like Hyderabad, Nellore(dt), Medak
(dt) & Krishna(Dt). And we are planning to extend the same to another 5 to 10 Schools based on the permissions available. This is very useful to students of VILLAGES where we didn't have much exposure to the current trends.

Pics will be shared shortly, if available

Session Content includes:

  • Personality & its importance
  • Importance of Setting a Goal in Life and How (ways) to achieve that.
  • Importance & Need of 10th Class
  • Different Career Options available after 10th Class (Jobs, Entrance Exams, Different Courses, Distance Education, Self Employment, Financial Assistance for Education Help etc.,)
  • We distributed Career Charts for 2/- to students and for free who dont have money
