Hole in the heart & No Ears (Urgnet Financial Aid for Janaki, 8 Years)

From: Venkatesh Kamsani, Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 3:40 PM

Hi Friends,

How r u? Hope everyone is doing well. Yesterday I visited baby Janaki (baby who got operation for hole in heart). I have seen the baby, she is fine and out of danger. Later I enquired about her health after surgery, about treatment and their financial problems (if any) for the purchase of medicines and treatment.

Janaki Parents feelings and responses to my enquiries:-
1) After Surgery, she is fine and no health problems.

2) Doctors advised us to take scanning and x-rays of baby as they got doubt about any water is filled and any infections, etc in heart. So we have undergone these investigations to janaki and reports also came on the same day, doctors said there are no such problems and it is absolutely fine. Doctor advised for a review again three months and prescribed medicines.

About Treatment Doctor said- “As it is related to heart we cannot say exactly when we have to stop the consumption of medicines, investigations, etc.  Based on Progress only we can say”.  Also we have enquired about the ears(as she born without ears), doctors said that this is heart specialty hospital so it better to consult “ENT” hospital for this.  So the parents would like to look at this after complete healing and recovering from this heart surgery.

3) Regarding financial problems:- As of now we do not have any problem for medicines, as we went two times to hospital for post operative reviews, they have not charged any consultancy fees, and they just charged only investigations fees as “Care & Concern Foundation” representative talked to hospital authority and helped us about waiving of “consultancy fees.
  *** *** ***

The above all are the words of their parents. They felt very emotional and said heartfelt thanks to all of us for helping morally and financially for their child operation.

As I was the person who personally verified this case in the beginning before surgery and even yesterday also after operation visited the girl felt very happy to have such great friends like u….

Thanks to all the generous hearts of the people who helped this child. Hope this type of helps in future from u all…..

Thanks,
Venkatesh K

Verification Details by K. Venkatesh

Yesterday on request from Uma Sankar I went to the home of baby Janaki and enquired the details about the case genuineness.

First of all I would like to tell about the baby Janaki, she is a child of 8years born without ears and now suffering from Congenial Heart Diseases (a hole in the heart) needs an urgent heart surgery without which she cannot survive. First of all I was shocked after seeing the girl who was born without ears and unable to hear properly from all sides (directions) to her. She is able to hear from front side (may be because of lip reading).

Later I enquired about actual problem, they told that, last year with advice from relatives, friends, etc regarding girl Ears and Hearing capacity (which can be solved by artificial implantation etc) we consulted Care hospital VIZAG, there they came to know that the girl is facing a major HEART DISEASE which is to be solved as soon as possible otherwise girl may die. Then with the help of their relatives in Kushaiguda, Hyderabad they came to Care hospital. Their relative raised financial request through the Print Media and Electronic Media from which Care & Concern foundation in Delhi reacted and helped the girl by issuing a Rs 50,000/- cheque to “CARE HOSPITAL,HYDERABAD”. And who also sent a request mail to us (Amma social welfare association).

After enquiring all these details, I have taken the snaps of the child and I spoke to her mother. She was crying about her child as they are not in a position (financially) to save her girl and she was requesting us for the help, I felt really very sad after looking and talking to them, I am very much bothered about the child. So friends, as by the grace of god we all are born with good limbs and doing good and are in a good position to help this kind of children, our every single pie counts here, so my sincere request to u all is please help as much as possible financially.

I thank Mr. T. Uma Sankar for giving me this opportunity and first time in my life I have seen this kind of case and came to the clarification that we all are unnecessarily bother about small things in the life but if we look at the world, there are lot of people who born with some lack of limbs or organs in poor background families and facing this kind of problems.

So friends here we have to show our generosity towards the society and our neighbor people who are in urgent requirement. Because I believe in the quotation that “MANAVA SEVE MADAHAVA SEVA”. As I was the person who saw directly the children with my naked eye and heard about problem would like to donate Rs 500  as my contribution.

Thanks to ASWA.

Thank you,

ASWA TEAM

Dear Sir

Greetings from Care & Concern Foundation!

First of all I would like to thank you on behalf of the NGO i.e. Care & Concern Foundation for your generous time & also for showing your interest in saving the life of a needy child.

The case attached here i.e. Janaki, a 7 years old girl is suffering from Congenital Heart Defect and getting her treatment at Care Hospital, Banjara Hills in Hyderabad.  Her father Venkatramana, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, is not having any definite source of income and not able to bear the treatment cost which is approx. Rs. 3,50,000.

As an NGO, we are supporting her treatment cost. So far, we have collected around Rs. 1,50,000 with the noble contribution from general public of Hyderabad and we need to collect rest of the treatment cost shortly as the girl admitted to the hospital needs surgery in the next week, the exact date for the surgery will be finalized after the result of some pending reports.

As we have shortage of time, we expect a valuable contribution from your side shortly so as to save the life of the poor child.

Attached here is the scanned copy of Request letter and supportive documents from Janaki and the hospital.

Hope for an early response.

Thanks & Regards
