Re: Financial Support to Poor Stundents- Bowenpally Children Updates

We stopped supporting these children from January, 2011, as their parents not responded to our calls and are also lightly capable of paying their school fee  as per their Present Financial Status

Hi all,

This Monday (6th December, 10) I along with K.Veerabhadran has visited Bala Nagar Children, for whom we are extending our Financial Support under Cheyutha Project. I have visited 15 days back and assigned some home work to the children, as previously said I would like to visit these monthly twice (if possible more) to guide them towards better education.

They are very active and we just need to guide them properly. They are good at studies. We have paid their school fee till December, 10.

The younger one who is studying 1st class sings a full song from the Movie KHALEJA (om namah siva rudraya)….We surprised regarding his memory power…

We badly need a volunteer to look after these children (1st and 4th Class). Please come forward either on regular basis or weekly once.

Hi, all

Great work Uma,

May be i am little bit delay to give reply, but i feel to share the following points with you.

Don't bother about their studies because just they are kids. We should not put any pressure on them regarding only studies, rather it is better to encourage them in games, other activities also.

As per your mail their parents are facing some personnel problem behind financial crisis, hence it is better to give some counseling to them.

This is my personal view only, don't take other wise.

I am ready to go there monthly once, if any one come with me. Let me know others opinion in this regard.

Regards,
K. Veerabhadran.

Dear friends,

I have visited Children of Bowenpally on 21st August, 10, for whom we have extended our financial support last year.

This year till date we have not extended our financial support. We decided to re verity the children interest towards studies. So I again visited after receiving several calls from their mother and father for financial help. I tested their interest levels by sparing more than 1 hour.

Their elder son Manoj Kumar is studying 4th class and younger one is Udaya Kumar who studying 1st class.

Manoj is very poor in all subjects; even he is not good at tables. His writing skills are also very poor/bad. Manoj Kumar is some how poor at his studies and he is not showing interest also. Their parents also not taking proper care about him because of their illiteracy and busy work schedule.

Uday Kumar is doing good and we just need to guide him.

I have paid their 2 months school fee (300*2=600) for Manoj and (250*2=500) for Uday kumar.

I warned the children and their parents about their studies and confirmed that we will pay the school fee only for children who are interested in studies.

I personally verified the family who are in financial crisis and suffering with personal problems too.

I would like to spend my one hour at least per week and but unable to turn up regularly. I requesting any of you who are residing at Bala Nagar/Bowenpally please spare your valuable 1 or 2 hours per week to guide these children on regular basis. Please come forward.

Hi all,
Our financial help extended to two more students. I.e. now we are supporting to 5 students for their entire academic year. There are other cases where we are sponsoring based on their requirements partially like Examinations fees, Books etc.

When comes to this, their father Mr.Thummala.Sivanand (9248738850) residing near Malla Reddy Garden, Boyen palli/Bala Nagar. He is working in an Printing Press since 10 years for a salary of Rs.6000/P.M. But unfortunately he affected by paralysis and his right hand and right leg were paralyzed. So he is unable to work. Because of his dedication towards work,  his owner is still supporting him by changing his job profile and paying around 2000/- to 3000/- Per month

One of our member Mr.Alapati.Jagadish referred this and want to extend our financial support for their children education. So we visited his house and decided to help these children by paying monthly school fee (Rs.200*2=Rs.400 P.M).

Last Monday Mr.Jagadish and T.Uma Shankar visited their school and paid Rs.800/- towards their June and July month school fee. Mr.Manoj Kumar is studying U.K.G and Mr.Uday Kumar is studying 3rd standard in Vani English Medium School which is beside to their h.
