2nd Anniversary -No words to pen down our feelings and experiences........

    Hi...

It is our pleasure to thank you one and all for your fabulous efforts in making our dream, goal and ambitions of helping others into reality. With out your every effort we are no more here running towards our second anniversary i.e. 27.04.2010 and trying our part to change the things around us to always see smiley and happy surroundings/society…

Your support in every corner is really inspired many of us and motivated us to take the initiation towards helping others.  You are the Pillars of this AMMA SOCIAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION

We are going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary (2nd or 3rd Sunday of MAY). So please let me know your plans and views on these celebrations.

Our dream of helping others was initiated in our minds many times…but our first step was on 28th December, 07. When we planned to visit Sivananda Rehabilitation Center on January 1st, 08 and spend some time (first time in my and all others life) with these innocent children and uncared, unwanted and unloved men and women…..As all sets…we spend our most part of the new year day in Sivananda Rehabilitation Center….we found nothing was more happiest than this friendly, family like outing in serving others. We, first time, saw the real problems in the world and real satisfaction in the eyes of others by our simple acts……

Was there any thing better than this to start a new year?

Then we decided to continue these group efforts of serving others….but started on 27.04.2008 in a SUMO by collecting money for a child appendicitis operation .. there onwards we all aware how we progressed as ASSOCIATED MEMBERS OF MOTIVATED ACTIONS/ACTIVITIES

There are no words to pen down our feelings and thoughts and many experiences we enjoyed only because of your support, inspiration and motivation…rather simply thanking you….

    Love all-Serve all

Visit to CBR Academy on 21.03.2010

    Hi Team,

It has been long since we are back from CBR Academy visit.Did not get time to express the takeaways from our visit.CBR Academy Visit was very memorable and useful.During the trip, below places were visited :

    1. Visit to Y’s Men Club of Vijayawada
    2. C.B.R.Academy, Kethana Konda
    3. Hanuman Temple, Paritala
    4. Kanaka Durgamma Temple, Vijayawada

We have reached Vijayawada at 5.30AM. C.B.R. Academy allotted a vehicle for our total trip in and around Vijayawada. Our Special thanks to Sri.Challa.Bala Ram Prasad Garu (Founder), Sirisha Garu (PRO), Anil Kumar (Asst. PRO) Garu and others who helped us in the every corner of the trip.

Mr.T.Adithya, P.Pavan Kumar, Vani and Sridevi has joined us in Vijawada. After refreshing we moved to Y’s Mens Club of Vijayawada

    Y’s Men’s Club of Vijayawada :
This is running in a rental free space donated by Gayathri Brahmana Seva Samithi.
Mr.K.V.B.Sastry garu has been involved in service from past 20 years. Even though he is above 60, he is very energetic. His talks motivated all of us. K.Virabhadra Sastri garu is director of Vijayawada Club. They have been giving training to Underprivileged Women and Girl Students in Tailoring and Basic Computer courses.
They have also helped few students trained in computers to get jobs. Also few families in getting bank loans to purchase tailoring machines.

As promised earlier, we have contributed Rs.6500/- for this cause from AMMA. From there around 10.30 we started to CBR Academy.

    CBR Academy
This academy is situated near Kethana konda (around 20-25 Kms from Vijayawada towards ibraheempatnam). Challa Bala Ram Prasad garu, Chairman allocated 60 acers of his own land and funds in order to fulfill his dream of training more men/women from India into sports field to win Olympic medals.

He is a national champ in Weight lifting and due to his poor economic conditions and other factors he could not go further in those days.

But his ambitions towards sports increased day by day as he was unable to achieve the goal. Then he decided to help the talented sport persons through out India to reach their goals.

He used to send the Cheques directly to them for 2 or 3 years and attended their shows. But he understood that this is not sufficient to fulfill/achieve his dream.

There the thought of CBR Academy initiated/generated. Then he trained few of them who are already in the field .But they didn’t comeback to help this academy or the students in any manner.

Then he decided to inculcate values first and other skills later. So he planned to start an overall school for children like GURUKULAM. He started to develop his dream project in his 60 acres of place at Kethana Konda.

He invited higher class children (8th, 9th) from any background who are interested in sports OR who are willing to work for 2 hours in the garden of academy. Many turned up.But day by day he saw a decreasing trend in the numbers. They are unable to adopt the disciplined conditions .

The academy has many vaccant seats open for interested students. He recently started CBR Academy- English medium School (purely Commercial purpose not like Service oriented Telugu medium school in the same compound) and given the same for lease. This academy is mainly concentrating on Weight lifting and Athletics. They have Air conditioned GYM for weight lifting (which is currently under renovation process).

They are also cultivating paddy and other food grains which can be used in academy itself for their daily needs.
We can join/refer any students (Only Telugu medium) here, who are willing to work and adapt to this disciplined atmosphere/life style. The Academy students are shining well and got few medals in common wealth games etc. For more details you can reach Sirisha Garu (PRO) @ 9010131088

This above information was provided by Challa Bala Ram Prasad garu in his own voice during the meet which lasted for more than 3 hours.

Hanuman Temple, Paritala & Kanaka Durgamma Temple, Vijayawada
Around 4Pm we moved to Vijawada on the way we visited a big and beautiful hanuman temple at Paritala. After 15 min of devotional entertainment we returned to Vijaywada to visit Kanaka Durga temple… Here also Goddess blessed with her excellent darshana.

After all, we went to station with lots of memories and we were tired as it is one day trip.It might have been more fruitful if the trip is more than 1 day.
